Triple S Heavy Construction is a growing, full-service civil and heavy construction company based in Dayton, TX. We are in the field every day — grading, excavating, paving, pouring concrete, installing underground utilities, and erecting structures from the ground up. We are expanding our operations and looking for serious people who take pride in their craft. We do not have time for anyone who doesn't show up, doesn't work hard, or doesn't care about doing the job right. What We Do
Triple S operates across the full spectrum of heavy civil construction. Our crews handle land clearing, mass grading and excavation, underground utility installation, asphalt and concrete paving, structural demolition, concrete cutting and coring, and heavy equipment hauling. We run GPS-guided equipment and operate on commercial, industrial, and residential sites throughout the greater Houston region and across Texas.
We are currently building two major industrial business parks — Sawmill Business Park in Dayton and Emmett Expressway Business Park in Houston — along with residential infrastructure at Cherry Creek Quarters subdivision. Our pipeline is full and growing. That means we need good people now.
Who We Are Looking For
We hire for character first, skill second. We can teach the work. We cannot teach someone to show up on time, respect the crew, take care of equipment, and care about the finished product. If you already bring those things, here is what we are looking for:
Heavy Equipment Operators
Experience running excavators, bulldozers, motor graders, skid steers, and compaction equipment. GPS machine control experience is a strong plus. You will be working on commercial and industrial sites where precision matters and the timeline is tight.
- Experience required — this is not a training position
- Must hold a valid driver's license; CDL preferred
- Comfortable working long days in Texas heat
- Dependable transportation to and from job sites
CDL Drivers — Dump Truck / Haul Truck
We run a fleet of heavy haul trucks moving material on active construction sites and between locations. If you have a CDL and know how to handle a loaded truck safely and efficiently, we need you.
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Clean MVR preferred
- Experience hauling dirt, aggregate, and construction materials
- Ability to work with site supervisors and follow daily load schedules
Concrete & Paving Crews
We pour concrete flatwork, install curbs and gutters, and lay asphalt on commercial and industrial sites. We need experienced finishers and laborers who know the work and take pride in a clean finished surface.
- Experience in commercial concrete or asphalt required
- Ability to read grade stakes and follow finish elevation specs
- Physically demanding work — must be able to perform at a high level outdoors
Underground Utility Laborers & Pipe Layers
We install water, sewer, stormwater, and power infrastructure to municipal and commercial standards. Experience with open-cut utility installation, trenching safety, and pipe bedding is required.
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Experience in underground wet utilities or electrical preferred
- Ability to work in confined spaces and trenched environments with proper safety protocols
General Laborers — Heavy Construction
We always need strong workers who show up ready to work. If you don't have specialized experience yet but you're tough, reliable, and serious about building a career in construction, we are willing to put you to work and give you the opportunity to grow.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation required
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Prior construction experience a plus but not required
