Triple S Heavy Construction is a full-service civil and heavy construction company based in Dayton, TX. We work across the greater Houston region and beyond, serving residential developers, commercial builders, industrial operators, and municipalities who need a contractor they can count on from the first day of site mobilization to the final walkthrough.

We are not a company that showed up yesterday. Who We Are

We are a heavy civil construction company first and foremost. That means we specialize in the work that happens before the walls go up and after the architect hands off the plans — the grading, the underground utilities, the excavating, the paving, the concrete, and the site preparation that determines whether everything built on top of it stands for decades or causes problems in years.

What sets Triple S apart is scope. Most contractors in our space do one or two things well and subcontract the rest. We do it all — land clearing, mass excavating, precision grading, underground utility installation, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, demolition, concrete cutting and coring, and heavy trucking. That breadth of capability means our clients deal with one contractor, one schedule, one point of accountability, and one crew that already knows their site from day one.

Our sister company, Triple S Trucking & Equipment, extends our logistics reach even further — providing dump trucking, heavy hauling, hot shot services, equipment moving, flatbed transport, and fleet support to keep job sites supplied and running without interruption. Together, the two companies form a complete heavy construction and logistics operation capable of handling projects from raw ground to finished development.

What We Build

Our work spans residential subdivisions, commercial developments, and large-scale industrial construction across the Houston metro and surrounding region. We have cleared raw acreage for residential communities, installed miles of underground utility infrastructure, paved commercial and industrial lots built to handle the daily punishment of heavy truck traffic, and managed complex multi-phase civil projects from start to finish as the primary contractor.

Today, our active project list includes two ground-up industrial park developments — Sawmill Business Park in Dayton and Emmett Expressway Business Park in Houston — where we are managing the full construction scope from land clearing and mass grading through underground utilities, reinforced concrete slabs, asphalt paving, and structural building erection. We are simultaneously developing the Cherry Creek Quarters residential subdivision, handling all civil site work from initial clearing through roadway construction and lot finish grading.

These are not small jobs. They are proof of what Triple S is capable of delivering — and a preview of the scale of project we are built to take on.

How We Work

We run GPS-guided equipment on our grading and excavating operations because accuracy at the sub-grade level determines performance at every level above it. We own our fleet — excavators, dump trucks, compaction equipment, paving machines, and cutting and coring rigs — which means we are not dependent on rental availability or subcontractor schedules to hit your timeline. When the job needs to move, we move.

We price our work transparently. When we give you a number, we stand behind it. We do not come back mid-project with change orders for conditions we should have foreseen, and we do not pad quotes with contingency lines to cover sloppy estimating. If something changes on a project, we have that conversation directly and honestly.
